Justin and Brad bring a combined 20+ years of coaching experience, working with athletes across a wide range of ages and competitive levels. Current coaches with the Cleveland Youth Running Club, over the course of their careers they have coached the 2025 CCCNYC High School National Champion, multiple 2025 CC OHSAA All-Ohio runners, the 2024 and 2023 Boys Ohio Youth State Champions, developed more than 25 High School and Middle School All-Americans, and led multiple Ohio Youth and MS State Championship teams and Individual State Champions.

Their coaching philosophy is rooted in collaboration, long-term development, and sustainable success. They firmly believe that consistency in training is the true foundation of elite performance. While standout workouts can be exciting, they emphasize that steady, disciplined progress over time produces far greater and more lasting results. In their view, consistent training not only drives peak performance but also promotes durability, confidence, and continued growth throughout an athlete's career.

Justin and Brad prioritize working closely with each athlete and maintaining open communication with their personal coach. By building a unified support system, they are able to design individualized programs that maximize performance while supporting proper development and injury prevention.

Their mission is simple: to provide athletes with the structure, guidance, and accountability necessary to reach their full potential — both in competition and beyond.

Who is this coaching for? +
We work with high school runners and older — from beginners to competitive athletes. If you're serious about improving, we can help regardless of your current level.
How does the training plan work? +
After an initial consultation, we build a fully personalized plan based on your goals, schedule, and fitness. Plans are updated regularly based on your progress and feedback.
What distances do you coach? +
We specialize in distance training — 800 meters and up. This includes the 800m, 1500m, mile, 3000m, 5K, and cross country. All of our plans are built specifically around the demands of distance running and your target event.
Can I cancel my subscription? +
Yes — cancel anytime with no penalty. We believe the coaching should speak for itself, which is why we don't lock you into long-term contracts.
How do I communicate with my coach? +
You'll have direct access to your coach via our training platform, Final Surge. We respond within 24 hours on weekdays and are available for scheduled check-in calls.
Do I need a GPS watch or special equipment? +
A GPS watch is required for our coaching program. Accurate training data is essential to how we build and adjust your plan, and a GPS watch allows us to analyze your workouts, pacing, and progress in detail. If you don't currently have one, we're happy to recommend options at a variety of price points.
